ABOUT US

We are a group of ordinary people drawn from across the Rotherham Metropolitan Borough and ranging in age from 'babes in arms' to those 

who are over 90 years young.
  
We have a diverse range of backgrounds, occupations and interests but

share a common interest in studying the Holy Scriptures and seeking to

live our lives in fulfilment of the teachings of Our Lord Jesus Christ, gathering regularly together in worship and fellowship.

We believe - In one God; Father, Son and Holy Spirit

We continuously seek Gods guidance through The Holy Spirit and

His Word in the Holy Bible

We are a praying church and believe in the ministry of all God's people,
serving in the church and in the wider community

VISITORS

We welcome visitors and within our membership we currently have

people who speak French, German, Spanish and Urdu: our aim is
that every visitor will only be a stranger to us once. 
We seek to be a friendly family and all are welcome to join fully in our Meetings and fellowship activities.

Herringthorpe United Reformed Church is in fellowship with the United Reformed Church Yorkshire Synod and with Churches Together In

England (Churches Together In Rotherham).  HURC also supports HOPE2008/HOPEROTHERHAM08 and the work of Gideons International

and is a partner church with CVM (Christian Vision for Men)
