About Us

We are a group of ordinary people drawn from across the Rotherham Metropolitan Borough and ranging in age from 'babes in arms' to those who are over 90 years young.

We have a diverse range of backgrounds, occupations and interests but share a common interest in studying the Holy Scriptures and seeking to live our lives in fulfilment of the teachings of Our Lord Jesus Christ, gathering regularly together in worship and fellowship.

Our Minister is the Rev PAULINE CALDERWOOD

We believe - In one God; Father, Son and Holy Spirit

We continuously seek Gods guidance through The Holy Spirit

and His Word in the Holy Bible

We are a praying church and believe in the ministry of all God's people,

serving in the church and in the wider community

VISITORS

We welcome visitors and our aim is that every visitor will only be a stranger to us once. We seek to be a friendly family and all are welcome to join fully in our meetings and fellowship activities.

Within our membership we currently have people who speak French, German, Spanish and Urdu.

OUR LINKS

We have strong ecumenical ties with the other Churches within the Herringthorpe district of Rotherham, sharing many opportunities to worship, pray and witness together.

Broom Valley Methodist Church, St Cuthbert's Anglican Church,
St Mary's Roman Catholic Church and Whiston Methodist Church

Herringthorpe United Reformed Church is in fellowship with the United Reformed Church Yorkshire Synod and with Churches Together In England (Churches Together In Rotherham)
