About Us

Our Vision is to be a community centred on Jesus.

We long for people in Rotherham to know Jesus and to be transformed by His love and Spirit at work in their lives.

Our Mission Statement is: Loving God, Loving One Another, Loving Our Community.

We strive to live out Jesus' two Greatest Commandments (Loving God and Loving Our Neighbours - Matthew 22:36-40) and Jesus' Great Commission (to make disciples of all people - Matthew 28:18-20).

We are part of the United Reformed Church, a mainstream denomination within the UK, and also Churches Together in England (through Churches Together in Rotherham). Many of our members also support the work of GEAR - the Group for Evangelism and Renewal in the United Reformed Church.

We seek to work closely with the other churches within the Herringthorpe area, sharing opportunities to worship, pray and witness together. These churches are Broom Methodist Church, St. Cuthbert's Anglican Church in Herringthorpe, St. Mary's Roman Catholic Church and St. Mary Magdalene's Anglican Church in Whiston.
